Online singing lessons that actually work
Online singing lessons are live one-to-one video sessions with a coach. LABVOCALS runs them on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, FaceTime, WhatsApp or Skype, in London time.
What you need
A laptop, tablet or phone with a camera, a stable connection, and a room where you feel free to sing out. A simple USB microphone helps but is not required.
Setting up Zoom for singing
Turn on "Original sound for musicians" in Zoom audio settings and switch off background noise suppression. This stops Zoom cutting off sustained notes.
Place the camera so your face, neck and shoulders are visible — posture and tension matter.
Joining from another time zone
Every slot is shown in London time and in your own city's time when you book, so students in Dubai, New York or Moscow can see exactly when their lesson starts.
